Is this the first Dash & Dine LA?
Yes. January 23, 2027 is the inaugural Dash & Dine LA — Griffith Park 5K.
Do I need to be a serious runner?
No. The 5K is designed to welcome runners, walkers, first-timers and experienced participants alike, subject to final course rules and time requirements.
What comes with my registration?
Registration includes your 5K entry, race bib, event shirt, finisher medal and other race-day goodies. Additional details will be announced as race day gets closer.
When and where do I pick up my race packet?
Packet pickup will be offered at announced locations in the days leading up to the race, and race-day pickup will also be available. Exact pickup locations and hours will be announced soon.
Where is the race?
The planned event hub is Park Center in Griffith Park, 4730 Crystal Springs Dr., Los Angeles, CA 90027. Final permitted start/finish, parking and arrival instructions will be published before race day.
Is food included with registration?
No. Food is not bundled into race registration. Attendees will purchase food directly from participating vendors.
Which food vendors will be there?
We're building the Dash & Dine finish-area lineup now. Participating food trucks and vendors will be announced soon.
Can friends and family come to the post-race area?
The goal is for the Dash & Dine gathering area to be a community experience for runners, friends and family. Final access details will be posted as event logistics are finalized.
Will there be awards?
The current event plan includes a short awards and recognition program before the food-and-music portion continues.
What happens if there is bad weather?
Runner safety comes first. If weather conditions make it unsafe or impractical to hold the race as scheduled, Dash & Dine LA will be rescheduled for a later date. Existing registrations will automatically carry over to the new date, and registered participants will receive updated information by email.
How does the race support the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank?
Dash & Dine LA is a for-profit community event produced by Andros Events. $5 from every paid registration will support the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
